Rescue Me Corporation {Incorporated } was contacted to see if we would be willing to participate in the National Day of Service 2021 which we were immediately excited to do.

On this special day every year young people from schools, camps, day~cares and more are asked to "give back" by volunteering for an organization. 

​

This year we were so excited to have a group of youngsters from Chaminade College Preparatory School. 

​

We got five eager kids and their parents as well as their Principal to join us. 

​

We were so fortunate to be able to have them join us on one of our rescue ranches in Old Agoura, California. 

​

On this day the kids got guidance from our Vice President Vikki Cukier at her beautiful ranch {The Circle C Ranch} 

​

The kids got to meet horses, pigs, a mini horse, chickens, dogs and even a rehabbing squirrel. 

 

They got to really get their hands dirty working on a real ranch. They did everything from cleaning horse stalls and picking up poop to grooming horses and learning about the animals on the farm.

 

A great day was had by everyone and we can't wait to do it again next year.

We just love being a part of EDUCATING kids and teaching them responsibility about pet guardianship.
